The History of GiLa Club
Well, actually i can say that GiLa Club is mainly a combination of two different club from two different school, which 1 is MBS version and the another 1 is PESS version. It seems is a good idea when the two of the different group of people start to interact each other and get communicated. Actually, the main way of our people to communicate is mainly through FRIENDSTER discussion. Thus, i can see that there are many posts and chatting in that. Anyway, i am seldom active in Friendster discussion board. (which this i will talk with it later)
During the begining of it, it is a great success. Friendship and Bonding is so well between all of us. For the MBS guys, we always will hang around together, having our fun time during our secondary school, together we done something which is stupid.
The group is getting much more interesting with the present of Lynnet and Siew Qi. Lynnet always will be fair and semangat, and Siew Qi always will be so supportive. That time the SPM is coming nearby, which means, is near to our graduation.
We always gather together at Sze Jian's house to do revision ( i think, we play more ba) Well, actually the FIRST gathering for our MBS GiLa also is during the Sze Jian's Birthday Pool Party. What i say here, Sze Jian's house will always become a great memorable moment for us. We sleep together, jump in the pool together and play his "Bubbles" together as well. His house is such a familiar place for us.
Ok there, we are graduated and eventually finish our SPM exam also. During that time, our FREEDOM has arrived. We are out of the school bound, and we are more free to hang around together compared to the school time. However, we also having certain problems. Actually we did spend our time together and see each other more during our school time. Thus, we start to organize something which can make everybody interact and having the FUN TIME together. The first interaction between PESS GiLa and MBS GiLa happen later. We manage to go for an outing at SUNWAY LAGOON, which i can say, 7th December 2007 it is the greatest ever and wonderful day.
The spirit of Gila-ness come to the peak after the day. The gang is getting bigger by the joining of new friends. Actually me and Sze Jian do have a vission, that we want to spread our GiLa spirit and make the circle bigger and bigger. What we think is, we should pull more people in the circle, and get more people to share the fun. Actually the Sunway outing is an initial success.
The days are getting nearer to the Christmas. It is so fortunate that my friend suddenly ask us to spend our Christmas eve at Genting Highland. For me, it is such a great idea for us to go there. First, we can spend our wonderful Christmas together. Second, we never go for a trip before, usually a trip can make us to get closer and have more fun. At this time, to match my vission, i ask my another 2 friends to join the trip.
It is so FUN during the Christmas eve at there. All of us enjoyed like h3ll and spend our most GiLa night there. That eve is really full of spirit.
However, the story changed during the second day of the trip. Some misunderstanding happend between some of us, and eventually quarells happen....our group, have splitted totally into half. Until the end of the trip, the situation never getting better, until the way to home, we take different path......It is such a sudden that all of us never expected will happen. Before that we spend our most exciting time together, as i thought it will become a greatest trip for me. The CONTRAST, in just a few hours time....
Well, i can stop here. After that incident, actually we managed to get back our friendship, we hang around during new year countdown again. We do always go out to yumcha or go watch movie together. Everything seems get back to normal and like past. The next, Sze Jian went to Costa Rica for his study. We promised to keep our group and spirit. The Friendster discussion board seems get more active and active. Everybody have done their hard work to preserve our bonding and friendship, and the GiLa Club actually maintain until now....

Ok, here is the real truth, if you can see my writing. Just based on the "essay" above, seems noting is wrong right? The ending is just a nice ending as the GiLa can manage to survive and all of us are still back together, after the "tsunami" at genting. Actually, there are alots of side effects which we cannot see. We are trying hard to get back our bonding and friendship in a short time, but in the same time, we do lost trust on each other. Every words, every actions we are just so becareful to avoid from making conflicts and misunderstanding happen. We are BONDED on the surface, however, the bonding between our mind and soul has totally LOST. Everytime we hang out, we are just like pretending on each other, to keep the group together. Besides that, in our gila club,there are some people who are really sensitive in thinking. Too Much different COMBINATIONs in our group and different commitment do make the situation worse. This thing i only realize after Jian's leaving. Now, even in the group of 7 guys here, there are already two different combination. This means that, if this two groups splitted out, remaining there are only 3 and 4 person on each side. A LINK must be always there for different combination. On the girl's side, i would like to say, we seldom involve them and really interact with them. Yea we do interact, in Friendster ! Well, i believe that we are lack of direct interact besides of msn, phone call and sms. Here i need to apologise on my frequent absent in Friendster discussion. I really don't like to participate in friendster discussion. For me, i prefer direct communication than Friendster communication. At least MSN will be better. I am sure, even though the original Sunway plan has successed on 29th September, it will not be a wonderful outing. Before that we not even come out to sit together at once and talk together, suddenly want organize an event or activities? Are we really MIXING TOGETHER? Or we are just COMPOUNDED together?

The errors in timing and things happen in the wrong time also make our situation become worse. Two times our planning had failed right? The first 1 is very last minute, and in the end, some words come out : "Why all of us also never co-operate de?" me and ken sendiri go out with the other friends pula, fantastic right? The second 1 is not last minute either, in the end, some words come out: " Why all also never put their effort on the planning?" me and ken then go genting on 28th september. wad ever u guys wan to think. The first 1, we only decided to go out with our BEST FRIENDS after the thing cancelled. The second 1, we already decided to go genting before u all say out the plan to sunway. Thats wad i can say.
AND
It is TRUE that many of us never put effort and commitment to the GiLa club. But it is not a CRIME and CANNOT BE BLAME. If our real heart really dunwan commit, if we choose to be honest to each other, this what we can only do. Thats why i say we are just scare to make conflicts and disagreement happen. There are different kind of people in the group, and actually most of us also very agressive in thinking and defensive.
I very appreciate the GiLa, and i do not want to give up GiLa too. I hope all of us can give each of us some TIME, i know now is a very critical stage, all of us also wan to think a way to solve it. However, ASAP only will make the same circle happen again after the genting disaster, we are just trying to maintain the group on surface. PLEASE! Don't make ourselves DIE SILENTLY. Can we actually have some time to rest and try to understand each other well? If, in the end we really find that we are different thinking and frequency, at least we can know clear bout our situation and have a happy ending....
"Actually, i like a GROUP more than a GANG, at least GROUP we still can have our own freedom and commitment" The real meaning of GiLa, whether it is a GANG that TIE us together? Or it is a GROUP which BRING us together? Do we really have the spirit of GiLa in our heart? Yes I do"
